It&#8217;s certainly wonderful to see fiction about scientists getting the mainstream airing it deserves. The hook for the piece is Barbara Kingsolver&#8217;s new science novel <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Flight-Behaviour-Barbara-Kingsolver\/dp\/0571290779\/ref=nosim?tag=lablicom-21\">Flight<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Flight-Behavior-Novel-Barbara-Kingsolver\/dp\/0062124269\">Behavior<\/a> (reviewed on LabLit&#8217;s most recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lablit.com\/article\/747\">podcast<\/a>), which I can highly recommend.<\/p>\n<p>The infiltration of science and scientists into popular culture continues.
