I&#8217;m being subjected to a series of mock interviews, and I&#8217;ve been reading as much as possible in my field for the past few months, mostly on evenings and weekends and on the trains in between home and work.<\/p>\n<p>For the final few weeks, I&#8217;m now treating myself to a few immersive days of study at home. Although stress levels are constant and high, I&#8217;ve really enjoyed this rare immersive scholarly experience. I&#8217;m making connections and coming up with new ideas for the future.
