\nGreat time at the NN drinks last night, despite there being<\/a> only<\/a> a<\/a> few<\/a> regulars<\/a> there; and the magnificent Pamela Ronald<\/a>. Pamela said something nice about a certain “blog post”:http:\/\/network.nature.com\/people\/rpg\/blog\/2008\/09\/14\/on-depression\u2014a-personal-perspective last year, without realizing that was me, which is, actually, the kind of fame that appeals to me. People know what I’ve done without associating it with the mental-looking redhead tripping over his own shadow and drinking Theakstons out of plastic cups. <\/p>\n

\nApparently I'm the next <\/code>stephenfry sez rpg7twit. Big, brain size of planet, yes. Gay, famous, no.<\/code> @cromercrox<\/a><\/p>\n

\nOn the other hand, we all (here at NN anyway) know Henry Gee<\/a> and what he looks like. But the rest of the world doesn’t. Which is a shame, especially as one of us is convinced that Henry Gee is<\/em> the next Stephen Fry.<\/p>\n
