This started on Kat Arney&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/katarney\">Facebook<\/a> page, apparently, and is now taking over <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/search\/?q=%23scientistlyrics\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\nWhat you have to do is substitute a scientist&#8217;s name into the lyrics of a song. Such as <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diamond and Streisand: &#8220;You don\u2019t [Simon] Singh me love songs\u2026&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Jackie Wilson: &#8220;[Lord] Rees petite, the finest\u2026&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Stylistics: &#8220;Einstein in love with you\u2026&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Roxette: &#8220;Newturn me on\u2026&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>ZZ Top: &#8220;Every girl\u2019s crazy for a [Barry] Sharpless man&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nI know how much the NN folk love a good pun, so here&#8217;s your opportunity to stretch the funny synapses a little. The sillier and the cornier the better. (I did extend the meme slightly, but that&#8217;s because I&#8217;m supposed to be working <strong>cough<\/strong>.
