Ever since I saw an editorial in last Tuesday’s Evening Standard<\/em>, I’ve been meaning to write a serious blogpost. However, ever since last Tuesday I’ve been a bit under the weather, and not really up to it (before you jump to any conclusions, correlation doesn’t equal causation, remember).<\/p>\n

So in the meantime, to keep you entertained, here’s some hot bird action from my garden this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Swimming tips for children<\/h2>\n

\"Checking<\/a>
\nAlways let an adult make sure it’s safe to bathe.<\/p>\n

\"Having<\/a>
\nSometimes they’ll take a sip to make sure it’s all right for you.<\/p>\n

\"Bathtime\"<\/a>
\nAllow an adult to check the depth.<\/p>\n

\"Schwartzchild<\/a>
\nRemember kids, until you have learned to swim well, stay in the shallow end.<\/p>\n

\"Lifeguard\"<\/a>
\nAlways swim with an adult present.<\/p>\n

\"Bbbrrrr\"<\/a>
\nMake sure you dry off afterwards.<\/p>\n

\"Snack<\/a>
\nAnd finally, eat after your swim, not before.<\/p>\n
