See <a href=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/scurry\/2009\/05\/19\/in_my_opinion_the_british_chiropractic_association_is_being_unscientific\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/scurry\/2009\/06\/04\/keep_the_libel_laws_out_of_science\/\">here<\/a> for some background to the case.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe news is all the more wonderful because it was so unexpected. The first synopsis of this morning&#8217;s court ruling has appeared on arch-skeptic Crispian Jago&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/crispian-jago.blogspot.com\/2009\/10\/simon-singh-has-won-permission-for-full.html\">excellent blog<\/a>. He has done a great job of rendering the very brief legal proceedings in lay terms.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe news will also be a great boost for the Sense About Science campaign to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.senseaboutscience.org.uk\/index.php\/site\/project\/333\/\">Keep the Libel Laws out of Science<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\tThat&#8217;s all for now (work beckons).
