{"id":835,"date":"2011-05-06T21:39:34","date_gmt":"2011-05-06T20:39:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/scurry\/?p=835"},"modified":"2011-05-08T12:34:52","modified_gmt":"2011-05-08T11:34:52","slug":"the-speed-of-x-rays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/scurry\/2011\/05\/06\/the-speed-of-x-rays\/","title":{"rendered":"The Speed of X-rays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 12.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Lucida Grande'} span.s1 {text-decoration: underline ; color: #3a08f5} -->I was back at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.diamond.ac.uk\/\">Diamond Light Source<\/a> today \u2014 the <a href=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/scurry\/2008\/11\/06\/donuts_is_there_anything_they_cant_do\/\">synchrotron<\/a> that we <a href=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/scurry\/2008\/12\/19\/diamond_nights\/\">use<\/a> to blast protein crystals with X-rays to figure out the structures of protein molecules.
