We had a nice, meandering conversation.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/proteinwrangler\">Carl<\/a> asked me about my research, how protein crystallography works (we have common interests in structural biology), how I&#8217;d got into science, about the twists and turns in my career that had brought me to my present position at Imperial and about my favourite scientists, real and fictional. Sound <a href=\"http:\/\/imascientist-film.org.uk\/\">familiar<\/a>? I guess, Carl and I also have a shared interest in showing the human side of science.<\/p>\n<p>No-one is obliged to listen, of course \u2014 the choice is yours.
