Sun Peaks certainly lived up to its name while we were there!<\/p>\n

That’s hubby (or, as he shall be known from now on, Mr E Man – see what I did there?) on the far left, with his sister, and me on the far right, with her husband. The two wee boys are our nephews, who put everyone to shame (and terrified their mother) by going down double black diamond moguls with no fear, and the other guy is a friend who may or may not be able to provide me with video footage once he’s found the right cable and done some editing.<\/p>\n

I did not do the double black diamond moguls, but I did do my first ever black diamond – a short and relatively easy groomed run with 3 inches of good fresh snow on it. I didn’t do it very well, gracefully or quickly, but I did it. Now I never have to do one again. If people start bugging me, I shall simply reply that of course I can <\/span>do black diamond runs, I just choose not to.
