Apologies for the delay – we’ve been having problems with our internet and cable TV service that seem to be getting worse every few weeks, so we haven’t had any internet all weekend (I’m jonesin’, man!) Shaw’s tech support number is perpetually busy, so maybe it’s not just us; Mr E Man is off work and trying again today, hoping to avoid the weekend and evening problem of being on hold for 40 minutes and then giving up.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I digress. Here are the results as they stood after Friday’s games, when Week 2 ended.<\/p>\n

Week 2 SUCKED<\/p><\/div>\n

Lavaland’s off to a strong start, with ScientistMother and Modscientist in hot pursuit. There’s not much difference between the rest of us (said Cath, hoping to cover up the fact that she’s joint last with Chall and Mr E Man, although thankfully she’s had a much better start to Week 3).<\/p>\n

After some teething problems I think we’ve all figured out that 1) the previous week’s picks DO roll over if you forget to update them before the Saturday cut-off point each week; 2) while the first win-a-car portion of the larger pool started in Week 3, our Week 1 and 2 points DO count in the overall standings; and 3) none of us really have to worry about winning the car!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
