Man, I love Hallowe’en.<\/p>\n

Apparently I freaked a lot of people out… and some people asked to get their photo taken with me! But the best part was when I ran into a guy dressed as a gorilla and we both nodded very approvingly at each other.<\/p>\n

Bonus point for anyone who can explain why only a very small patch of my chimpy leg is furry!<\/b><\/p>\n

I didn’t take any photos at the party itself<\/a>, but it was amazing. The 13 of us who went together had made or rented some great costumes, from deep sea diver to the Pillsbury Dough Boy, and the hundreds (and hundreds and hundreds) of other people there had all entered into the spirit of things too! We used to go to the Waldorf Hotel years ago, when Mr E Man’s brother’s band played there and it was a total dive, but it’s been all smartened up now and it’s great! There were DJs and bands in the various rooms, playing all different kinds of music, and they’d turned the hotel rooms into a “haunted hotel” with spooky art installations and people in costume jumping out at you.
