I admit that a free-kick that <span style=\"font-style: italic\">didn&#8217;t <\/span>move through the air would be somewhat less than sensational, but I wonder if they chose the most appropriate words to describe this wonder goal. I tried to find the goal on Youtube, but it&#8217;s already been taken down due to copyright issues. I&#8217;m guessing that what they meant to say is that the kick had a wicked swerve on it.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a gratuitous illustration of Beckham bending it instead.<\/p>\n<p>Ah, a very talented (ex) Man Utd player who I actually like.
