{"id":2051,"date":"2012-07-14T02:15:27","date_gmt":"2012-07-14T02:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/?p=2051"},"modified":"2012-07-13T19:23:12","modified_gmt":"2012-07-13T19:23:12","slug":"progress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/2012\/07\/14\/progress\/","title":{"rendered":"Progress!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just made a to-do list for next week that contains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>more instances of &#8220;follow up with X about Y&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li>more entries that start with the words &#8220;organise&#8221;, &#8220;set up&#8221;, or &#8220;finalise&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li>many more acronyms (and initials instead of full names of colleagues \/ collaborators);<\/li>\n<li>fewer entries that start with the words &#8220;look up&#8221;, &#8220;find out about&#8221;, &#8220;learn how to&#8221;, or &#8220;arrange access to&#8221;; and<\/li>\n<li>far, far fewer entries that include the words &#8220;thingy&#8221; or &#8220;stuff&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>than any other weekly to-do list I&#8217;ve made since switching jobs!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m obviously getting on top of things. Yay!<\/p>\n<p>On my weekend to-do list: a meet-up with <a href=\"http:\/\/mrscomethunter.blogspot.ca\/\">Alyssa<\/a> tonight, then an overnight camping trip on Saturday \/ Sunday to celebrate two friends&#8217; 40th birthdays (during which we get to test our brand new tent for the first time).
