{"id":556,"date":"2010-04-09T16:48:00","date_gmt":"2010-04-09T16:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/2010\/04\/09\/canadian-graffiti\/"},"modified":"2010-04-09T16:48:00","modified_gmt":"2010-04-09T16:48:00","slug":"canadian-graffiti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/2010\/04\/09\/canadian-graffiti\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadian Graffiti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m a big fan of the bathroom graffiti genre, and found some outstanding examples last night at <a href=\"http:\/\/vancouver.about.com\/od\/restaurantsbars\/gr\/foundation.htm\">The Foundation<\/a>, an uber-hip vegetarian restaurant:<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/S79X0-jddcI\/AAAAAAAACHE\/QnDrmvJ_S3w\/s1600\/graf1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/S79X0-jddcI\/AAAAAAAACHE\/QnDrmvJ_S3w\/s400\/graf1.jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Good advice: your mother is usually right (unless she&#8217;s telling you to listen to Slayer).<\/p>\n<p>This second one was right underneath a larger, too-faint-to-photograph entry saying &#8220;smiling is the 2nd best thing to do with your lips&#8221;:<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/S79X2nTUL5I\/AAAAAAAACHM\/DUIFAD1DUx4\/s1600\/graf2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/S79X2nTUL5I\/AAAAAAAACHM\/DUIFAD1DUx4\/s400\/graf2.jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Awesome.<\/p>\n<p>The food was fantastic, the beer was good, the service was so-so, and I had an awesome last night with my <a href=\"http:\/\/vwxynot.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/for-auld-lang-syne.html\">friend<\/a>, recalling our past boyfriends and crushes and laughing uproariously. She and her family will be gone by the time I get home from work tonight after a really, really fun visit.
