{"id":957,"date":"2011-02-14T20:09:25","date_gmt":"2011-02-14T20:09:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/?p=957"},"modified":"2011-02-14T20:09:25","modified_gmt":"2011-02-14T20:09:25","slug":"hockey-pool-week-19-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/2011\/02\/14\/hockey-pool-week-19-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Hockey pool, week 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t usually display a chart of each person&#8217;s weekly points tally, but I&#8217;ve decided to include it today because <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">it looked so nice when <a href=\"http:\/\/ricardipus.blogspot.com\/2011\/01\/hockey-pool-week-um-er-17-i-think.html\">Ricardipus<\/a> did it<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">I thought it might make Thomas feel better<\/span> I KICKED ASS for once!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_958\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/files\/2011\/02\/week-19-points.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-958\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-958\" src=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/files\/2011\/02\/week-19-points-300x179.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-958\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">it&#039;s about bloody time I had a good week<\/p><\/div>\n<p>It was a good week for us bottom dwellers, with Thomas also doing well. But how did this affect the standings?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/files\/2011\/02\/week-17-19.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-959\" src=\"https:\/\/occamstypewriter.org\/vwxynot\/files\/2011\/02\/week-17-19-300x179.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lavaland didn&#8217;t have the best of weeks, but second-placed Ricardipus did worse, and failed to make up any ground on her. Bob&#8217;s solid effort put him within two points of second place, while ScientistMother did one point better than Bob and made up some of the ground between her and the top three spots.<\/p>\n<p>Chall had the worst week in the pool, and although Gerty-Z placed in the middle of the weekly points rankings, it wasn&#8217;t enough to prevent me from leapfrogging both of them into fifth place.
