Instead, I found a story about <a href=\"http:\/\/news.opodo.co.uk\/articles\/2007-12-19\/18401275-Tourist-files.php\">a tourist who has filed a formal complaint against an Indian monkey<\/a> that stole his reading glasses.<\/p>\n<p>Dude, <a href=\"http:\/\/vwxynot.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/fridays-primate-party.html\">these things happen<\/a>. Bah Humbug to you and your insurance company.<\/p>\n<p>But all is not lost! <a href=\"http:\/\/science-professor.blogspot.com\/2007\/12\/christmas-time-birthdays.html\">Female Science Professor <\/a>blogged about Christmas time birthdays (CTBs) yesterday, and lo and behold, two stories today about British zoo primates with CTBs of their own!<\/p>\n<p>First, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eadt.co.uk\/content\/eadt\/news\/story.aspx?brand=EADOnline&amp;category=News&amp;tBrand=EADOnline&amp;tCategory=news&amp;itemid=IPED20%20Dec%202007%2013%3A55%3A38%3A333\">a rare Colombian black spider monkey was born <\/a>in Colchester.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/R2vTul-XVRI\/AAAAAAAAAGg\/es8zDkTAxzI\/s1600-h\/spider+monkey+baby.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/R2vTul-XVRI\/AAAAAAAAAGg\/es8zDkTAxzI\/s200\/spider+monkey+baby.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And second, <a href=\"http:\/\/itn.co.uk\/news\/35624cb2e3837ea89c87a476cbc0d3c0.html\">a baby gorilla celebrated his first birthday in Bristol <\/a>(make sure you check out the video &#8211; he looks sooo adorable clinging to Mum&#8217;s leg as she walks around!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/R2vT6V-XVSI\/AAAAAAAAAGo\/HqKC-3wIi4w\/s1600-h\/gorilla+birthday+boy.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_Xjsb8ObOj0k\/R2vT6V-XVSI\/AAAAAAAAAGo\/HqKC-3wIi4w\/s200\/gorilla+birthday+boy.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Happy birthday, baby primates!
