I am a scientist by training and trade, and a spare-time photographer. I shoot motorsports, events, stock photography, some wildlife and scientific themed material. Since 2010, I have been a credentialed photographer for Honda Indy Toronto<\/a>, covering the race weekend and pre-race activities, which explains the photograph above (thanks, Rick!). I’ve also spent many years photographing Toronto’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair<\/a>. More about me can be found here<\/a>. More of my best shots are in my Portfolio<\/a> collection.<\/p>\n

I use Nikon cameras and Nikkor, Sigma, Tamron, and Opteka lenses (and occasionally others borrowed from friends). For fun, I also use a variety of film cameras including a 1937 Voigtl\u00e4nder Brillant, a 1958 Agfa Silette LK, and an early 1970’s Voigtl\u00e4nder VF-101.
