On a day before a major snowfall on our neighbours just over the border in Buffalo, and an infuriating mix of snow\u00a0and\u00a0wind\u00a0in\u00a0Toronto: \u00a0some photos of Cuban-Canadian singer Adonis Puentes<\/a>, and legendary Cuban Tres maestro Pancho Amat<\/a>. With a sizzling band, a lunchtime slice of Latin music is just what the doctor ordered. Now Buffalo’s digging out, the sun has re-appeared in downtown Toronto, and I’m still astonished by Amat’s proficiency on the Cuban six-string. Puentes is no vocal slouch, either.<\/p>\n
