    Pathetic. For those prices I’d expect a weak nuclear force with extra Z0 bosons thrown in.

  2. They were having a sale on magnetism but I didn’t find it to be very attractive.

    Weirdly, when I Google for van der waals forces, I don’t get any adverts for Amazon masquerading as hits. Perhaps it’s because I haven’t bought anything from them for ages after I discovered they were registering all their British (and I guess other EU) sales in Luxembourg to avoid paying tax in this country. This is how The Guardian describes what they did:
