On randomization, Monte Carlo, and the Fisher-Yates shuffle.

Textism is crap, as I discovered when trying to format the code snippets that I wanted to put into this post.

It describes how I took a Perl implementation of the Fisher-Yates shuffle and made it work for scalars, where the scalars in question are chromosomes.
