On natural born confusion

I was surprised to read in the comments that Grrlscientist had the second most popular blog at Nature Network.

After a bit of cognitive dissonance I realized that Coturnix was confused by the closeness of ‘uber-respected international science journal’ Nature to Nature Blog Network. But to be fair to him, the journalist also seems to be conflating the two.

Branding gone horribly, horribly wrong? Or just a sad reflection on the state of affairs in Canberra, arsehole of the Universe? You decide.

PS. Who the hell is Henry Gee?

like you, i was surprised to read my blog was second most popular, since my blog is usually number one at the nature blog network (not NATURE N ETWORK, though). although, my writing did decrease in frequency (and in scientific content) while i was in london, and i am just now getting my feet under me, so i guess that drop in popularity is to be expected, sigh).
