In case you missed it, Richard Wintle has contributed to Alom’s project, arguing that
critical thinking skills are more important now than they have ever been in human history
and that these skills are part of what actually defines ‘Science’, if somewhat broadly.
Richard, despite his protestations of inadequacy, blogs at the Science Advisory Board and also has a personal blog, in which he talks about motor cars and cameras. That’s when he’s not riffing off Jenny, naturally.

…and we thank you.
At least I had the decency to acknowledge that I had unwittingly ahem coincidentally used Jenny’s idea.
And at least you had the decency not to mention that you gave up contributing to that SAB blog years ago, leaving me more or less as sole proprietor these days.
Yes, well—I ran out of things to say. And got annoyed at the SAB’s commenting issues.
Indeed. I have taken the approach of liberally ignoring the mission statement of the blog and writing about whatever the heck I like. So far, nobody’s complained. Mainly because nobody reads the thing.
I’m curious to see what Alom’s film is like. He’s got an interesting whack of people to tap for interviews.
Maybe he’ll fly you over, and we can have that beer? laughs
