And here’s an image from the Bank of Scotland’s £20 note:

Not quite uncanny, but an amusing resemblance nonetheless!

The website says that “the £20 note pays tribute to Scotland’s major achievements and contributions in the fields of education and research.”

Hey, I did my PhD in Glasgow!

You’re welcome, Scotland.

*people who have read my recent comments on a certain other blog: that’s the messy bench space I was telling you about.
