Please ignore this post, it’s just me claiming this blog on Technorati.
Apparently you can’t delete posts once they’re up!

How does that work? I am not sure I am on top of these things (no, I am not)
Massimo, if you have a blog, you can claim it on Technorati as yours.
This means you are registering your blog to be indexed by Technorati and you need to prove that the blog is yours, so you add some code they provide you, on your blog and voilá…
Thanks Ricardo, couldn’t have said it better myself!
Hi guys. No need to ping Technorati. We do it for you automatically. I’ll put a note on this over in the Bloggers forum.
It’s not pinging, it’s claiming: if you have a profile on Technorati you can have it show that your Nature Network blog is yours. It’s especially useful if you have more than one blog like I do. It ends up looking like this on Technorati.
Yup, that’s what I was doing!
I am trying to follow the geeks! I have created a profile on Technorati and I am trying to claim my blog on NNetwork. The claim method that I am being offered is:
Post Claim
What is it?
Just write a new post in your blog that includes a special link to your Technorati Profile to get the ball rolling. You can always delete the post later.
But I cannot get this to work. Cannot edit html code. Eva, how did you claim yours?
Oh, the code they give uses html, so you have to change it to the Nature Network format. Just copy the actual url part from their code and link to that from anywhere in your post. Then go back to the technorati page and follow the rest of their instructions.
Yeah I had to play around with the code a little bit to make it work.
I love how other people keep answering all the technical questions for me – I know just enough to be able to muddle through these procedures, but not to explain them properly to anyone else!
