Rhyme time

Following Stephen’s excellent post about writing a “lay abstract” as a short story, I shall make a second attempt at blogging the day’s events in limerick form.


As I don’t want to suffer from flu,
A shot in the arm did ensue.
My arm’s stiff and sore,
I can’t type any more,
Not even to fix this typoo.
Athankyouverymuch. And, ow.

    Times I have typed “functional imaging” in the last hour: 2.
    Times I have typed “functional imagine” instead: 10.
    Unfortunately 2.20pm is far too early to give up and go to the pub.
