Grant deadline week!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I’m pretty busy. So instead of a proper post, here are a couple of snippets from the web.

Look who wants to be the next Canadian Prime Minister! This was all over the TV news yesterday, and I say, how frickin’ awesome would that be??!! Too bad he doesn’t appear to be serious.

An amusing headline choice from the BBC. “Liquid water” would have conveyed the same information, and not made me think of aliens turning on a tap to fill a kettle.

    Have fun on your trip! Until moving to PA, I had actually never lived anywhere cold enough to attempt skiing, but will be trying it in the near future. Thanks for the heads up on “Patty,” I posted a response and corrected my little indiscretion 🙂 Looking forward to hearing about your trip!

    Thanks! Can’t wait!I wasn’t having a go at you specifically with the Patty/Paddy thing, it’s a continent-wide phenomenon that just bugs me for some reason!
