    Haha – love the moose!

  5. Cath@VWXYNot? says:

The moose is great! What shall I call him, do you think?

  6. Mermaid says:

Fantastic! What a great surprise to come back to. The moose looks like a ‘Rocky’ to me, but I couldn’t tell you why.

  7. Professor in Training says:

He should definitely be called Bullwinkle J. Moose in honour of the greatest moose that ever lived.

  8. Cath@VWXYNot? says:

Mermaid, Rocky the Mountie = the Rocky Mountains?!PiT, I actually never watched those cartoons… so the name doesn’t hold too much significance for me I’m afraid.I kinda like Rocky, but what was the name of the Mountie in Due South? Fraser Something? I’ll have to look that up.

  9. Cath@VWXYNot? says:

Benton Fraser. That might work, especially as I live close to Fraser Street.

  10. Professor in Training says:

I wasn’t allowed to watch much/any tv as a child but still managed to squeeze in some contraband Rocky and Bullwinkle time. FYI – Rocky (aka Rocket J. Squirrel) is a flying squirrel.

  11. Cath@VWXYNot? says:

OK, OK, I've got it.I'm gonna name him after one of my favourite Canadian celebs(pauses for effect).Rick Mooser.(Geddit?)

  12. ScienceGirl says:

Love your Rick Mooser – Congrats again 🙂

  13. Cath@VWXYNot? says:

Thanks! He's temporarily at home, but will be back on my desk next to my emergency tea bag later this week
