Farewell, giant marshmallow

The Vancouver skyline will never be the same again. But at least we won’t have to queue for up to an hour to get out of the stadium at the end of an event any more… air-supported roof = only a few revolving doors (with airlocks) can be used.

    Wow, great pictures. It is scary to think that I remember when it was built and the fuss that was caused due to how 'ugly' it was (I think I remember accurately that far back). Great pictures!

    Not bad, for an iPhone! I'm sure I have an old photo of BC Place on my home computer that I can substitute for the borrowed "before" shot – I'll try and do that tomorrow. Are you really THAT old?! 🙂

    OMG! That is shocking! It completely ruins the skyline! But I get the point about the airlocks, a bit unpractical …
