Not Gone Yet

Some of you might have noticed the, um, slow-down in posting here. This is because of a few things that have gone on in the real world (don’t worry, The Beast is fine).

Firstly, the fowl witch visited me here in Helsinki, and then dragged me back to New York, to enjoy the oppressive heat and humidity. During that time we decided to get married. I’m still in shock. So is Grrl: neither of us have blogged this.
I’ll also be leaving Helsinki. I have a job in Frankfurt, so I’ll be moving there just as soon as I can find somewhere to live, and as soon as they’ve sorted out their subway system

Excuse me, Herr Einstein. Does this station go to the bus?
I’ll blog more about this too, once I’ve got some idea of what I’m doing. I might blog about some other stuff too. Hopefully I’ll be back blogging more regularly when things have settled down.

In other words, Bob is too busy with matrimonial duties such as putting up shelves and learning how to use a vacuum cleaner.
    That’s fine, carry on.

Congrats on the new marriage, job, and life! Looking forward to hearing more about it all.

  3. Bob O'Hara says:

    Thanks, Alyssa.
Richard – the parrots are still in NY, so I haven’t had to learn about shelves yet. And I’m already good at hoovering up cat hair.

  4. Yi Zeng says:

Hi Bob, thanks for your message on my blog. And congratulations on your marriage! Looking forward to your new posts.

  5. Eva Amsen says:

Bob, shelves are not just for parrots. You mean you don’t have a cat shelf?

  6. Bob O'Hara says:

Not one that’s used as such. It would have to be very soft.
