At least, I assume there used to be something worth translating in this box… given that I found it near the elevators on the top floor of a hospital, hopefully it wasn’t anything about dodgy elevators or level 4 containment…

I wonder if the disappearance is related to the hand washing signs, where many more people touch the door going into the washroom than touch the door coming out. We never did figure out where all those people went!
So you think the sign was a warning about the rabid toilet beast?
At least now we know who (or rather what) stole the sign…
snortle.
You know, this is doing wonders for my translation skills:
English: “…”
Mandarin: “…”
Punjabi: “…”
[etc.]
Dead simple. I’m phoning the U.N. up and asking for a job.
I eagerly await an announcement about the sudden outbreak of peace (or at least silence) in the Middle East.
OK, OK, I’ll admit it. I took the sign.
It said “Nothing here to see. Please move along”, in Swahili, Estonian and Northern Irish.
On a peripherally related note, can I recommend the Lost Cat Archives?

Scroll down and clicky through to the first page, then work backwords. Brilliant.
Well this has been very helpful. Thanks all!
