Well, actually it’s over there, at Pleiotropy. There’s lots of good evolutionary stuff, so pop over and have a browse (I also like the way Bjørn has set out the carnival).
In case anyone’s interested, I’m moving to Frankfurt on Saturday. Hence the light blogging. The Beast is not impressed: he keeps on finding a nice place to hide, and then someone dismantles it around him.
Go on, suggest a caption
Bob, this may be of interest to evolution bloggers, if the haven’t seen it already.
… and happy moving!
Finland will miss you! It was nice still having to have the chance to meet you in Finland.
Even though I had to be rather unethical about it and convince the organizing committee of the yearly retreat of the developmental biologists of Helsinki to the marine biology station in Tvärminne (quite a mouthful), that it was absolutely essential to invite you to give a talk on Web 2.0, and that all the other possible people and topics were boring.
Thanks Mark. I have to say, the talk on paradise was rather good.
Parrots! Wherever it is we’re going, I fear there will be PARROTS!
Good luck with the relocation, Bob. Do you also have eleventy hundred boxes of books to move?
Poor Beast. I want to give him a hug, but I fear that mailing him to Canada for hugs will only increase the trauma.
Good luck with the move, Bob!
(whoa – so happy I don’t have to do that again for a while!!!)
Aw – poor little Beast! He’ll manage just fine, I’m sure. Good luck with the move!
Thanks, folks. We’re not safely in Frankfurt. The Beast is getting used to the room I’m staying in. We have a nice view from the window

Including a special tower for my wife:
Oops. not safely -> now safely.
